An undergraduate slaughtered his 60-year-old father and hacked the corpse into pieces before dumping in into a bush near their home in Ogun state A 21-year-old student who killed his father, hacked the body into bits and hit it in a bush near his family home in Ogun state has been arrested by the police. Tolani Ajayi, a 300-level student of the Department of History and International Relations at Redeemer University, Ogun State, reportedly killed his father following an argument. Student Pulse gathered that the late father, Charles Ajayi, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, had queried Ajayi over his irreligious attitude and slapped him in the process. Angered, the junior Ajayi attacked his father with a knife and killed him. In a desperate attempt to conceal the crime, the suspect cut his father's body into bits with a cutlass and packed it in a box which he dumped in a bush close to their home.

Fans and critics grew skeptical of  the Carter’s relationship  when  Beyonce performed her emotional ballad “Resentment” on the “On The Run” tour  where she altered the lyrics “Been ridin’ with you for six years” to “Been ridin’ with you for 12 years.” At first we thought it was just an update, after all artists do it to older songs all of the time. However, Bey did do something a little extra that caught our attention. She added an extra line to the song. “I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me” she sang, adding, “She ain’t even half of me. That bitch will never be.” ( Watch it here ). Hmph. Fast-forward a few days and this video of Bey and Jay on tour made it to her Instagram fan page @BeyonceWorldFans . The clip shows Jay Z as he tried to kiss on Bey while she performed “Drunk In Love.” Keyword being “tried.” Beyonce was not here for it....

Chelsea are prepared to sell John Mikel Obi in order to raise funds for their transfer targets this summer. The  London Evening Standard  reports that the Blues manager Jose Mourinho will listen to offers for both Ramires and Nigerian midfielder Obi. Chelsea have recently signed Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona respectively and are looking to strengthen their squad further. It had been reported earlier in the year that Chelsea had already told Obi he should find a new place to pitch his tent this summer, and with his lethargic performance in Brazil his days at Stamford Bridge may truly be numbered.  The 27-year-old will not, however, be short of suitors as clubs like Galatasaray, Monaco and Inter Milan have showed interest in the player.

The Sound of Contact frontman later refuted allegations he was dealing drugs in Wiltshire Phil and Simon Phil Collins' eldest son Simon Collins has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs. Simon, lead singer of rock band Sound of Contact, was also questioned by police over possession of a class B drug, according to reports. Over the weekend Wiltshire police said: "A 37-year-old man from Devizes has been arrested for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and for possession of a class B drug." The musician has since been released on bail pending further enquiries, reports the Daily Mail.

Kel and her hot new - and very beardy - boyfriend have been packing on the PDA on Instagram Ummm Kelly Osbourne and hot bearded model Ricki Hall had been fueling romance rumours with a string of cosy snaps for weeks. But now the pair have pretty much all but confirmed their romance by posting a picture of them  kissing  licking tongues.
