Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi has described his estranged party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), under which he was elected as governor for eight years, as a derailed party. Obi, who decamped to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, recently was reacting to a statement credited to Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, wife of the late Biafran warlord, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu-Ojokwu, where she condemned him for defecting to the PDP. The ex-governor, who noted that Mrs. Ojukwu’s comment must be taken seriously, because she is not a frivolous person, however, said APGA had turned to an empty shell without an inner core of shared values.
