The prestigious Channel O Africa Music Video Awards has come and it’s gone. The event took place yesterday November 29, 2014 at the Nasrec Expo Centre in Soweto. The event was largely tagged a success, celebrating Africaan artistes creativity, but the biggest news was Davido not winning any award.

When Odartey Lamptey’s marital issues hit the news, Elikem denied in November of 2013 to playing part in the footballer’s crisis. Now, Elikem is admitting to the affair on micro blogging site twitter. The fashionista unleashed a series of tweets admitting having affair with Gloria Lamptey and Pokello breaking up with him three months ago.

Davido bagged the most nominations at the just concluded Channel O Music Video awards for 2014 and he walked home with nada. The music star was amazed by his omission as ALL of the 5 nominations he got, got awarded to other artistes. The 22 year old congratulated the winners alright, but we all know that is not skin deep.
