Olivia Colman broke down in tears as she picked up the Best Actress award at this year's TV BAFTAs.
The Broadchurch actress burst into tears on stage and said: "Oh sorry, not cool."
She went on to thank her co-stars including David Tennant, saying: "Working opposite you is a joy and a treat."
Wiping tears away from her eyes she raised giggles from the audience at London's Theatre Royal as she reeled off a list of people to thank.
She said: "Well, Broadchurch, I'm so pleased everyone likes it. Chris Chibnall is a f***ing genius, thank you for writing it!
"And can I thank my friend Merk? Who's not an actress but a teacher...And my parents, because they are babysitting again.
"And my husband, the best thing in the world."
Colman, who plays detective Ellie Miller in the drama, beat off competition from Helena Bonham Carter, Maxine Peake and The Village's Kerrie Hayes.
It's the third BAFTA in two years for the talented star, who last year picked up awards for her roles in Twenty Twelve and The Accused.
The second series of Broadchurch will start filming later this year.
