Apple iPhone 6 new phablet handset 'to contain 128GB internal storage'

A rumoured 5.5inch model could have more memory than ever before in an effort to make it a premium version of the phone

The phablet version of the iPhone 6 may contain 128GB of internal storage.
According to the Chinese website Wei Feng, the 5.5inch model may be kitted out with more memory than any iPhone before it.
Apple fans have been eagerly awaiting for such a storage increase ever since the iPad 4 was released with 128GB in 2013.
If the plans go through, it will have the largest memory ever seen on an iPhone.
Those opting to buy the standard 4.7inch version will still find an increase but not on the same level.
Instead, customers will have the choice between a 32GB or 64GB model.
It is rumoured that Apple is trying to differentiate between the two forthcoming handsets by making the 5.5inch model a 'premium' version of their flagship phone.
Not only will it be larger in stature and contain much more storage, but it may also be built with Sapphire Glass which would make it resistant to scratches.
The tech giant is yet to release an official launch date for the phones, but it is heavily rumored to be taking place on September 19.

Several high resolution images recently gave the public the clearest view of the handset after being posted by an eBay user.
However recent reports have suggested that the final design which will hit the shelves will differ from any of the designs that have been seen online so far.
Much of the speculation surrounding the iPhone 6's release is concerned with whether Apple will be releasing two versions of the handset.
A recent picture by Dickson measured a 5.5inch dummy model with a ruler before posting the evidence for all the world to see.
Dickson had previously tweeted a full shot of the iPhone 6 next to the Samsung Galaxy S5 for a size comparisson.

El-Rufai’s Son Killed In Auto Crash

Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has lost one of his sons in a car crash. Hamza El-Rufai died Tuesday morning in Abuja. The former Minister and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, broke the news on his faceboook page today. El-Rufai wrote: “From Allah, we came and to Him we shall return. Please join our family in praying for the repose of the soul of my son, Hamza El-Rufai who died in a motor accident in Abuja.” See more photo below:

Atiku: I Did’t Join APC to Contest for Presidency

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that he did not join the All Progressive Congress (APC) so as to run for the Presidency in 2015,  but to nurture the party and ensure that good governance is entrenched in Nigeria  come 2015. Atiku who spoke in an interview with the BBC Hausa service, monitored in Kaduna on Monday,  maintained that if it were because of a  presidential ambition, he had clear chances of occupying the number one seat when he was in office with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, or even recently when he was in the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN ). He  said   he let that go in the interest of the nation. Atiku   vowed that he would never return to the PDP, saying that from all indications, the party would no longer be what it used to be.
