Jeremy Meeks, who is facing 11 criminal charges including illegal gun possession and gun crime, was offered the contract by Blaze Modelz in Los Angeles.
The agency, based in Santa Monica, claims it can book him for high-end fashion houses - such as Prada and Gucci - which could see him earn thousands of pounds a month.
The 30-year-old is reportedly being represented by Hollywood talent agent, Gina Rodriguez, a former porn star.
However despite agreeing to the contract it may be some time before Meeks can cash in on his new found fame as he is is currently being held on $1million (£580,000) bail while facing a potentially lengthy prison sentence if convicted.
Since his picture emerged has been nicknamed “Dreamy McMug” with countless woman asking to marry him after seeing his mug shot.
Meeks, from Stockton, California, previously served time for grand theft and has had numerous other brushes with the law.
According to reports in the US he is a former member of the feared Northside Gangster Crips however his family now insist he has moved away from any affiliation.

An American volunteer cardiologist was shot dead in Pakistan on Monday, a member of his minority Ahmadi community said, in the latest attack on a group that says it is Muslim but whose religion is rejected by the state. Mehdi Ali Qamar had taken his wife, young son and a cousin to a graveyard in Punjab province at dawn to pray when he was shot, said Salim ud Din, a spokesperson for the Ahmadi community. "He came here just one or two days ago to work at our heart hospital, to serve humanity and for his country," Din said. "Two persons came on motorbikes. They shot 11 bullets in him." Qamar was born in Pakistan but moved abroad in 1996. He had returned to do voluntary work at a state-of-the-art heart hospital built by the Ahmadi community in the eastern town of Rabwah.
