Warning explicit language: Watch Damon address Jeremy Clarkson's latest error at start of his South America tour
The Top Gear presenter hit headlines after he drove a Porsche through the South American country with the letters H982 FKL on it – an incident officials have insisted was merely a coincidence.
Speaking during his set at Teatro Gran Rex Buenos Aires, Damon told the audience: “I want to really apologise for the behaviour of a guy called Jeremy Clarkson who does a programme called Top Gear."
The Porsche with the British journalist Jeremy Clarkson travels Patagonia, and its patent controversy: H982 FKLHe added while making a rude gesture with his hand: “He’s a f***ing a***hole.”
Damon then continued with his show, playing songs from his new album Everyday Robots, after getting the apology off his chest.
Meanwhile Clarkson has since returned to the UK to face the music following the latest debacle.

Damon has started his South American tour However on Wednesday evening the BBC's claims that his Falklands number plate mistake was a fluke were in doubt after it emerged bosses planned to film a joke stunt with a second registration.
Earlier this week another set of plates – with BE11 END on them – were found in the same sports car and Beeb chiefs admitted they had wanted to use them in a scene.
And the corporation was plunged into further turmoil after gagging a dealer who sold it the Porsche with FKL plates, sparking accusations of a cover-up over the blunder.

Mark Waring, of Surrey-based Rennsport Classics, was approached by the Mirror to comment on the scandal that infuriated Argentines and left Clarkson and his team fleeing for their lives after being attacked by an angry mob in the South American country.
Asked if BBC chiefs appeared interested in his Porsche 928GT’s number plate, he replied: “You might not be surprised to know that I have been contacted by Top Gear and basically I can’t comment.
“They have given me the number of the press office for you. So I can’t comment. I really can’t. I saw the car on the news and they called me a while after that.”
Former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has lost one of his sons in a car crash. Hamza El-Rufai died Tuesday morning in Abuja. The former Minister and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, broke the news on his faceboook page today. El-Rufai wrote: “From Allah, we came and to Him we shall return. The remains of the female politicians, who died in a ghastly auto accident have been laid to rest at the Bayelsa State cemetery, Azikoro in Yenagoa, the state capital. President Goodluck Jonathan his wife, Dame Patience and the Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson as well as wives of the Anambra and Ekiti State Governors joined other sympathizers at a special memorial service in honour of the deceased women at the Dr. Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, in Yenagoa.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that he did not join the All Progressive Congress (APC) so as to run for the Presidency in 2015, but to nurture the party and ensure that good governance is entrenched in Nigeria come 2015.
