Nicole Scherzinger joined Hollywood's finest for a night of glitz and glamour at the Global Gift Gala on Monday night.

The former PussyCat Doll looked divine in a sheer silver dress as she arrived on the red carpet.

With her hair slicked back behind her ears and a slick of dark red lipstick, Nicole looked like a total glamazon as she posed for the cameras.

But it was host Eva Longoria who led the way in a divine black floor-length gown as she walked the red carpet with Ricky Martin.

The brunette stunner showed off her ample cleavage in the black ballgown, which she teamed with a gold and red clutch and a sweet silver necklace.

Eva wore her long brunette locks down and wavy, and added a touch of glamour to her look with a smoky eye design.

The former Desperate Housewives star was joined by her BFF Victoria Beckham on the red carpet.

The pair posed for snaps on the red carpet in their co-ordinated black gowns and hairstyles.

Xtra Factor Host Sarah-Jane Crawford also got all dolled up for the swanky event.

The stunning presenter showed off her cleavage in a revealing blue floral prom dress, which she teamed with a pair of nude court shoes.

The star toned down her make-up and opted for a nude pink lip as opposed to her usual vibrant red colour.

Former X Factor star Alexandra Burke was also invited to the charity event.

The stunning singer opted for a floor-length black gown and a voluminous blow-dry.

Former Strictly star Thom Evans and his dance partner Iveta also hit the red carpet.

Thom showed off his muscles in a green velvet blazer, while Iveta looked elegant in a strapless gown.

President Goodluck Jonathan his wife, Dame Patience and the Bayelsa State Governor, Hon. Seriake Dickson as well as wives of the Anambra and Ekiti State Governors joined other sympathizers at a special memorial service in honour of the deceased women at the Dr. Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre, in Yenagoa.

Atiku: I Did’t Join APC to Contest for Presidency

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that he did not join the All Progressive Congress (APC) so as to run for the Presidency in 2015,  but to nurture the party and ensure that good governance is entrenched in Nigeria  come 2015. Atiku who spoke in an interview with the BBC Hausa service, monitored in Kaduna on Monday,  maintained that if it were because of a  presidential ambition, he had clear chances of occupying the number one seat when he was in office with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, or even recently when he was in the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN ). He  said   he let that go in the interest of the nation. Atiku   vowed that he would never return to the PDP, saying that from all indications, the party would no longer be what it used to be.
