Jonathan, Awujale in closed-door talks
In continuation of his consultation with traditional rulers, President Goodluck Jonathan Thursday met behind closed-doors with the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
Jonathan arrived the Awujale’s palace in Ijebu-Ode at about 11:20 shortly after his chopper touched down at the Dipo Dina Stadium in the town.
Former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the state, Prince Gboyega Isiaka, were on the ground to receive the president.
