A hippopotamus that had escaped from a flooded zoo in Georgia's capital Tbilisi was recaptured on Sunday.
It was one of several animals that wandered off after heavy flooding destroyed their enclosures.
The zoo said the hippo was cornered in one of the city's main squares and subdued with a tranquiliser gun.
Some other animals also were recaptured, but it remained unclear how many remained on the loose.
The zoo in Tbilisi suffered widespread damage in the flooding and scores of its animals were killed.
