Lookup by LinkedIn helps firms find coworkers with a required skill

Professional networking platform LinkedIn is now looking beyond just getting you that one job or hire with its new Lookup app which the company believes can make professionals more productive and successful by helping them easily find, learn about, and contact their coworkers.

Lookup, already available for iPhones (for now) comes as a convenient platform for professionals in a different department or firm looking for workers with a specific skill set. Or maybe a growing team wanting to know more about each other as new employees join.
