Boy go slow’ is waiting for Tinubu to help him appoint commissioners – PDP
The Lagos state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has described Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, as ‘boy go slow’.
PDP says the governor’s pace of governance is slow and uninspiring.
The party said Ambode is not ready for governance, as he appears to be waiting for APC leader, Bola Tinubu, to help him appoint ministers.
Publicity Secretary of the Lagos PDP, Taofik Gani, said this on Monday.
He wondered if Ambode had failed to appoint commissioners because he was “cleaning up the mess of his predecessor, Babatunde Fashola.”
“Tinubu said President Buhari had yet to appoint ministers because he was cleaning up the PDP’s mess. The APC leader justified this on the grounds that President Buhari took over from a government run by another party.
“However, we wonder why Governor Ambode has failed to appoint commissioners despite taking over from former Governor Fashola who is also a member of the APC. We wonder if Ambode is also cleaning up the APC’s mess.
“Governor Ambode is waiting for Tinubu to help him appoint commissioners. It is highly unfortunate that Ambode is not ready for governance. He is not ‘baba go slow’ like President Buhari; he is ‘boy go slow.”
