Samsung introduces the Gear S2
Samsung has introduced a new addition to its smartwatch offering called the Gear S2, which will be showcased at the upcoming IFA event on September 3.
A successor to the 2014 Gear S, the new smartwatch, available in Dark Grey and Silver, puts a 1.2 inch circular screen with 360 x 360 (320ppi) resolution display and thickness of 11.4mm.
The Gear S2 is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1-GHz for smooth app performance and runs on the Korean company’s Tizen OS, which offers the ability to send mails on the watch, receive real-time notifications, voice support (3G model), a long-lasting battery with wireless charging compatibilities.
