BREAKING NEWS: PDP APPOINTS NEW CHAIRMAN
The former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff, on Tuesday was appointed as the new chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, who made the announcement at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, all organs of the party, including the national caucus, the governors’ forum and the national assembly caucuses agreed on Sheriff’s emergence as chairman.
The decision, Metuh said, would be duly communicated to the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) and the National Executive Committee (NEC) for ratification.
