Clinton tiptoes around email questions addressing FBI's findings

Hillary Clinton subtly changed her tune on the use of a private email server as secretary of state in her first comments on the FBI's findings that she'd been "extremely careless" with classified information.

"Whatever they sent me they did not believe, and in my view had no reason to believe it was classified at the time," she told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Friday afternoon.

That's a shift from her longtime claim that she "never received nor sent any material that was marked classified" after FBI Director James Comey said earlier this week that 110 emails on her server included classified information — including two that had those markings on them.

Clinton pushed back on Comey's characterization of her email use, saying she trusted the more than 200 people who emailed her to know not to send classified information during the process.
