Explosions in Brussels damage several cars; no injuries reported
A pair of explosions damaged several cars in Brussels late Wednesday, according to reports.
The blasts shocked residents of the suburb of Saint Gilles, in the south of the Belgian capital.
Dramatic photos and videos posted on social media showed flames shooting into the air as firemen tried to contain the blaze.
Eight cars were damaged, according Belgian newspaper HLN.BE. No injuries were reported. The blasts took place near a popular cafe, sparking fears of terrorism.
In March, 32 people were killed and more than 300 wounded in coordinated terror attacks at a Brussels airport and train station.
