Marcus Rashford finally given place in Man United’s training HQ after Louis van Gaal refused
Marcus Rashford has finally be given a place of his own in Man United’s senior dressing room at the club’s Carrington training complex.
Former manager Louis van Gaal elected not to promote the 18-year-old forward last season despite Rashford cementing himself as a first-choice regular with some stunning performances.
The young starlet scored eight goals in all competitions last campaign and instantly became a fan favourite after bagging a brace against Arsenal at Old Trafford on his Premier League debut three days after scoring twice in the Europa League.
Yet LVG still made Rashford change with the scally-wag youth players.
Jose Mourinho has insisted that Rashford be given his own place in the senior dressing room for the upcoming season.
Youngsters Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have also been promoted at Carrington under the Special One.
