CNN correspondent invokes Beyoncé in on-air Lewandowski takedown
Maybe she carries hot sauce in her bag, too.
CNN political correspondent Angela Rye delivered an on-air smackdown Tuesday night after former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski went off the deep end, reviving the old birther controversy and snidely pointing out that Obama never released his Harvard transcripts.
“Corey, in this moment I’m gonna Beyoncé you. Boy bye! You’re so out of line right now,” Rye said, quoting Bey's "Sorry" lyrics.
The CNN panel’s bickering started during a discussion of Obama’s stunning condemnation of the Donald.
"The Republican nominee is unfit to serve as President," the President said at a press conference earlier in the day.
The ousted campaign bigwig criticized Obama’s decision to comment on this GOP nominee, calling it “partisan politics.”

“Let me be very clear, Donald Trump has been attacking the President long before he began campaigning for this important office,” Rye said.
“He is the one who was the spokesperson for the birther movement and was calling for transcripts and saying that the President was an affirmative action admittee of Harvard.”
“Did he ever release his transcripts from Harvard?” Lewandowki fired back.
Trump has been gunning for Obama’s college transcripts almost as long as he’s been shrilly demanding to see the President's birth certificate.
"The word is, according to what I’ve read that he was a terrible student when he went to Occidental. He then gets into Columbia; he then gets to Harvard,” Trump said in 2012, according to the Los Angeles Times.

“How do you get into Harvard if you’re not a good student? Now maybe that's right or maybe it’s wrong, but I don't know why he doesn’t release his records."
