Diego Costa was Chelsea’s match-winner last night but it could have been very different if not for some lenient refereeing.
The Spanish striker scored an injury-time winner against the Hammers to give Antonio Conte a win on his first game at Stamford Bridge.
However, the 27-year-old was lucky to still be on the pitch after he escaped a second yellow for a nasty challenge on West Ham goalkeeper Adrian.
The 29-year-old was reeling after conceding a late goal and he took to Instagram today to aim a subtle dig at Costa after his compatriot’s challenge and accompanied his post with a sarcastic ‘fair play’ hashtag.
