The person who leaked footage of Solange Knowles attacking Jay Z has been fired. 

After the New York's Standard Hotel identified the employee their contract was terminated "breaching the security polices of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video". 

According to reports, the TMZ bought the footage for $250 000.
