.Al-Makura Survives Impeachment, As Panel Dismisses Allegations

The Nasarawa House of Assembly had opened impeachment proceedings against the governor over the allegations and directed the Chief Judge of the State to put the governor on trial.
The lawmakers who pushed for his impeachment had boycotted the panel, alleging it was biased and would favour Al Makura.
