X Factor judge Mel B says she fears for the safety of her daughters online
New X Factor judge Mel, 39, worries about what Madison, two, Angel Iris, seven, and Phoenix Chi, 15, can access on the web
Spice Girl Mel B has told how she fears for the safety of her daughters online.
New X Factor judge Mel, 39, worries about what Madison, two, Angel Iris, seven, and Phoenix Chi, 15, can access on the web.
She said: “Kids are doing wilder stuff younger these days because everything’s much more accessible.
“They know more than us and if they don’t they Google it and download a YouTube video on how to do it.”
But the singer admitted she was a “wild” child when she was Phoenix’s age.
Mel, who grew up in Leeds, said: “I had already left home at 15. I was very outspoken, very loud.”
But she said Phoenix was a “tomboy” and she wanted her to stay that way “as long as bloody possible”. She said: “Dealing with boys, that stuff is going to freak me out.”
