Nigeria Records Two New Ebola Patients



Nigeria has now recorded two new cases of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) from secondary contacts of the American - Liberian Patient, Mr Patrick Sawyer.

Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu told journalists at a press briefing in Abuja that government cannot be sure of complete eradication.

Chukwu advised that "we cannot talk of eradication so soon." He rather called for calm from public so as to avoid panic.
He said the tackling of the virus which has received global applause "should let people to reduce the panic, the battle is not over but we have done very well," the minister said.
