Holding midfielder: Smiling Stevie carries Lourdes for stroll on the beach with her mum Alex
After having the weight of the World Cup on his shoulders, lugging a toddler is a doddle for England captain Steven Gerrard.
The Liverpool hero, 34, was catching some pre-season sun in Ibiza with daughter Lourdes, two, and wife Alex, 31.
Their two older girls Lexie, eight, and Lilly-Ella, 10, also joined in the holiday fun getting dad to take them out on a pedalo.
It was clear that despite his let down in Brazil, Stevie is still a hero to his family.
Although his club have already returned to pre-season training, Gerrard and other players who took part in the World Cup will be given an extended break before rejoining their team-mates.
