  The gorgeous, Inspirational, talented award winning Nollywood star actress, singer and reality TV star Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde who recently released a music track titled “Barren Land” hosted her Omotola Youth Empowerment programme (OYEP) Give and Let Give Event to celebrate the joy of Christmas in 2013 with orphans and widows.     The event which took place at her newly acquired multi-million Naira property on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos,  was a day filled with fun, music, dancing and performances.Omowummi Akinnifesi, OYEP Role Model 2013 and former most beautiful girl in Nigeria attended the event as well as Omotola’s husband, Captin Mathew Ekeinde and other guests.                

A Lagos High Court, Igbosere, was on Wednesday thrown into confusion as an alleged killer of Chief Funsho Williams, a gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State,  slumped during proceedings. The second accused in the murder case, Musa Maina, slumped in the dock at the peak of an argument on whether the prosecution should be allowed to collect fresh blood samples from the accused for forensic investigation. Maina, who is said to be asthmatic, had been in prison custody since 2006 along with the first accused, Bulama Kolo. The others arraigned for the murder are David Cassidy, Tunani Sonani, Mustapha Kayode and Okponwasa Imariabie. Maina slumped barely 45 minutes after the accused were put in the dock, His co-accused assisted him to stand up but the abnormality drew the attention of the judge, Justice Adeniyi Adebajo, who directed that he should sit down. As the trial proceeded, Maina slumped while sitting. This caused some  confusion in the court. Worried at the recurrence,

According to attorneys for  Eddie Murphy ,  a man calling himself  Brando Murphy  has been masquerading as the comedy star’s son in his own standup routine and in real life. TMZ obtained letters from Murphy’s lawyer threatening to sue Brando for performing with Richard Pryor’s son, Mason, in the “Sons of Comedy” tour and screaming in public that “My father won’t talk to me!” Watch video of his stand-up below where he says he is tired of people telling him that he looks like Eddie Murphy because he was born that way.
