Amber Heard to Present More Evidence of Johnny Depp’s Alleged Domestic Abuse

Image
Amber Heard will be bringing a mound of evidence to court next week for a hearing to determine if a restraining order should be granted against her estranged husband Johnny Depp. A witness list and exhibit list filed by Heard’s lawyer in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday cites a laundry list of evidence against Depp, who Heard claims was abusive to her throughout their relationship. Among the evidence cited in the papers: photographs of injuries that Heard claims to have sustained from Depp on May 21, days before she filed for divorce, as well as “text messages and communications exchanged between the parties prior to May 21, 2016 relating to prior incidents of domestic violence involving Respondent.” Heard’s team also plans to present a medical intake form “completed by Petitioner, in part, in 2015,” as well as a photograph “of Petitioner holding pills in hand on August 19, 2014.” Heard’s “medical records relating to prior incident of domestic violence” will also be

Are YOUR apps spying on you? Researchers find anyone can create an Android app for just $25 to access sensors and track your every move

Technology has opened us up to a new world of information, but it has also opened up doors for cyber-thieves. Researchers found that hackers can easily manipulate Android apps to track a user's location and traffic patterns without their knowledge or consent - and these apps launch in Google Play for just $25. The team developed an algorithm for their own Android app, which inserted data from the phone's built-in sensors into graphs of real world roads, allowing them to 'see' users' exact paths. HOW DID RESEARCHES CONDUCT THE STUDY? Researcher at Northeastern University developed their own app to show just how easy it is for these data pirates to trail users. The algorithm isn't using anything proprietary, instead, it checks against OpenStreetMap, a free and collaborative public database of maps and roads, reportsThe Daily Dot. The app's algorithm attaches to a smartphone's accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer without being granted permission by th

In a statement on their official website, Juventus announced that the Premier League club would be paying a fee of €105 million for the 23-year-old. That fee will be paid over two instalments but "may increase by €5 million on achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract." — JuventusFC (@juventusfcen)August 8, 2016 The real question for fans of the Bianconeri is, what now? This summer has already seen the club invest heavily in the transfer market, and even without signing a direct replacement, coach Massimiliano Allegri has a plethora of tactical options at his disposal. That was a matter discussed in this previous post, but—with both Sami Khedira and Claudio Marchisio expected to miss the start of the new season

Dog sperm may answer questions about human fertility

Image
New study finds link between environmental contaminants and declining canine virility Sperm quality in dogs has fallen rapidly over the past three decades, researchers have found, in a study which could explain the purported decline in human fertility . The findings have highlighted a potential link between environmental contaminants and fertility - after scientists discovered chemicals which had a detrimental effect on sperm function in some commercial pet foods. Researchers at the University of Nottingham believe that the study could help explain the apparent significant decline in human semen quality. Dr Richard Lea, reader in reproductive biology at the university’s school of veterinary medicine and science, who led the research, said: “This is the first time that such a decline in male fertility has been reported in the dog and we believe this is due to environmental contaminants, some of which we have detected in dog food and in the sperm and testes of the animals themse

‘American Horror Story’ season 6 might be about serial killer Charles Manson

Image
Could “American Horror Story” be going from vampires to Charles Manson? The Ryan Murphy anthology show might be heading in the cult direction for its sixth season as a fan theory questions whether the creepy drama could focus on the serial killer. Manson was found guilty of conspiracy to commit seven murders, most notably actress Sharon Tate, over five weeks in the summer of 1969. The cult leader’s wicked ways could be perfect for “American Horror Story,” whose stories so far have included witches and a carnival. We break down the clues here: Pig Scene from new season of American Horror Story vs message Manson girl Susan Atkins left in Sharon Tate's blood. #AHS pic.twitter.com/rqQEGUgdDG — Creepy Catalog (@CreepyCatalog) July 30, 2016 One of the first trailers for the new season showed a glimpse of a tented cradle with a baby mobile that — if you squint - spells out “PIG.” That same word was written in Sharon Tate’s blood on the front door of the house where h
