I Cannot Live in Oyo Govt House Because of Juju -Governor Ajimobi

Oyo state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi on Thursday said that he cannot live in the Oyo state Government House because of Juju (African magic). PREMIUM TIMES reported that Ajimobi who made the disclosure in Ibadan during the eighth-day Fidau prayer for the late Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Baosari Haruna, said, he had to flee his official residence after opponents directed evil traditional sacrifices (known as ebo in Yoruba) at him.

Nigeria: Subscribers Initiate Contempt Charge Against Multichoice

  Some Nigerian subscribers, who dragged Multichoice Nigeria before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, over its hike in the prices of Digital Satelite Television, DSTV, and GoTV subscriptions, have initiated contempt proceedings against the company's (Multichoice) directors for allegedly disobeying a valid court order. Meanwhile, Multichoice has challenged the jurisdiction of the court to hear the suit.

Lil Wayne has been sued by his tour bus driver, who claims the rapper tried to kill him while on tour in 2014. Mark Jones, who is the driver, claims he was hired to drive Wayne during his tour. According to TMZ, Wayne and his crew were being driven around for his summer concert tour when the driver stopped for a refuel and Wayne allegedly lost his temper.

Kano State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 3 persons suspected to have kidnapped Umar Aminu, a 4 year old boy. Customs releases container carrying Obasanjo’s ‘My Watch’ autobiography

The Nigeria Customs Service on Thursday said it had released former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s “My Watch” autobiography container. The NCS Comptroller-General, Alhaji Dikko Abdullahi, made the disclosure to newsmen when he inaugurated two new patrol boats of the service in Lagos. Abdullahi said the container was released following the vacation of an FCT High Court order restraining the former president from publishing, printing or offering the book for sale on Tuesday.
