The disgruntled rapper has documented his experience of being arrested in Sweden on suspicion of using illegal drugs. Finding himself under arrest was the last thing Snoop Dogg expected after performing on stage in the city of Uppsala, Sweden. Following a concert on Saturday (25 July), the rapper was pulled over by Swedish police on suspicion of using illegal drugs, reports The Guardian .

Ed Sheeran has been playing Cupid again, this time helping Kodaline bassist Jason Boland propose to his girlfriend. Ed Sheeran had already told fans to expect something special at his concert at Croke Park in Dublin on Saturday (25 July), and he wasn't kidding, as the evening included a surprise marriage proposal. After calling the Frames frontman Glen Hansard and Kodaline on stage to perform Irish classics including 'The Auld Triangle', he handed the spotlight to Kodaline bassist Jason Boland, saying, "Jay from Kodaline would love to say a few words."

Death toll rises to 13 from Somali hotel suicide bomb attack

Somalia's Shebab insurgents killed at least 13 people Sunday in a suicide bomb attack on a hotel in the capital Mogadishu, a security official said Monday, updating an earlier death toll. "The devastation was huge, and so far 13 people, all of them innocent civilians, have been confirmed dead," government security officer Ahmed Ali said. "Some of the wounded died last night, while other bodies were recovered under the wreckage of nearby buildings."

Female suicide bomber kills 19 at northern Nigeria market

A blast set off by a female suicide bomber tore through a crowded market in the northeastern Nigerian city of Damaturu on Sunday, killing 19 people and wounding 47, the emergency response agency said. No one claimed responsibility for the explosion but it is the latest attack in the last few weeks that bear the hallmarks of militant Islamist group Boko Haram.
