Nigerian President,  Goodluck Jonathan  has failed to make the  2013 World Richest Presidents List  which was recently released this week. The president who is busy dealing with serious matters withing his nation like the finding the almost 300 girls who were kidnapped 100 days ago, couldn't even make the top 20. Well, even though  Jonathan  couldn't climb the ladder of the wealthiest head of states in 2013, he wasn't the only president who didn't. In fact, no African president  made the top ten!

  A bomb explosion has been reported in Kaduna within Murtala Square by Alkali Road, Ungwar Sarki in Kaduna state. Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, a prominent Islamic cleric is said to have been the target of the bomb blast. Premium Times reported that a witness, Hassan Mohammed, said that the bomb which was concealed in a red Volkswagen golf car parked by the road side, was detonated as the cleric’s convoy drove past. So far at least 15 persons have been reportedly killed by the blast. It should be remembered that this isn't the first time Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi has been the target of the dreaded Boko Haram sect. In the last incident,  the bomb detonated near his home in Kaduna,  but failed to cause him any harm.

Six children from the same family were killed in an air strike by government forces in a village of the northern province in Aleppo on Wednesday. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, citing local residents, said three boys and three girls from the  family died in raid on Wahshiyeh. The Ogun State Police Command has arrested one Gbenga Ogunfolabo in Ishara, Remo North Local Government Area of the state for allegedly stabbing his wife, 45-year-old Bosede, to death with a broken bottle. A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on Tuesday, alleged that the suspect, a 47-year-old farmer stabbed Bosede to death during a fight between the couple on Wednesday last week but the incident was not reported to the police as a result of family pressure. Bose, a mother of eight, who lost two of them due to sickness, was said to have been constantly maltreated and abused by her husband, a peasant farmer. Fortunately, one of her relations (name withheld) decided to report the matter to the police for thorough investigation before the suspected killer husband was arrested. Hundred days after the abduction of Chibok girls ,it has been revealed that four more parents of the kidnapped girls have died,thus raising the total number to 11...
