The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, NSIA, Uche Orji has declared that the Second Niger Bridge would not be completed and ready for use until 2020. Former President, Goodluck Jonathan had on March 2014 flagged off the bridge which was initially billed for completion in March 2018.

NNPC relaxes embargo on 113 crude oil vessels

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has relaxed the embargo earlier imposed on some 113 vessels from engaging in crude oil/gas loading activities in any of the terminals in Nigeria. The NNPC in a statement issued Thursday night stressed that their decision to lift the embargo was due to the receipt of Letters of Comfort from all terminal operators, oil companies and off-takers of Nigerian oil and gas as guarantee that nominated vessels, pending the outcome of detailed investigation, were unencumbered and would not be utilised for any illegal activity whatsoever.

Electrocution: FG dispatches technical team to UniLag
