Ludacris Requested His Child Support Case Be Sealed Because Why?

Image
Oh boy…this story is a little…well…just oh boy! According to  Eben Gregory , rapper/actor  Ludacris  has asked the court to seal his current child support case so that details will no longer be available to the public. Why you ask? Well, apparently the rapper feels it is ruining his reputation. He is tired of the media trying to “Throw Them Bows” at him for fathering his infant child outside of his years long relationship with girlfriend  Eudoxie. Luda is also reportedly upset that the media keeps   reporting the things that his baby mama  Tamika Fuller  is saying about him regarding not paying child support or not trying to see his new baby girl. Says Ludacris to the judge, “Because the media is able to read and misinterpret the documents in the Court’s file in this case, every day since Jan. 1, 2014, I have been publicly humiliated and called a deadbeat dad, who does not want to see or support his minor child. Nothing could be further from the truth.

JUSTIN BIEBER VIDEOTAPED DEPOSITION Like You've Never Seen Him ... And It's Bad

Image
EXCLUSIVE Justin Bieber  can be insulting, arrogant, snotty, ignorant and disrespectful ... and all in one sitting -- because that's exactly what he was like during his deposition last week in  the lawsuit where his bodyguard allegedly beat up a photog . TMZ obtained a copy of the entire 4 1/2 hour, videotaped depo ... and it's just unreal.  We've boiled it down to what we think are the  best 4 clips . 1.   ARROGANT BIEBER  -- He just can't hide his contempt for the photog's  lawyer , and it comes out in pretty awful ways.  We put some snippets together and you'll get the idea.  It represents his attitude throughout the depo. 2.   LOVESICK BIEBER  --  Selena Gomez  is clearly a hot button, because when the lawyer asks about her, everyone goes nuclear.  Bieber eventually rips his mic off and  he and his lawyer storm out .

I love money so much bank alerts turn me on — Lizzy Gold Onuwaje

Image
Lizzy Gold Onuwaje isn’t new to the world of show business. Her foray into the make-believe world started in 2006 when she won the Delta State Pageant as Miss Delta State. Then she tried her hands at the  Most Beautiful Girl  in Nigeria Pageant (MDGN) where she emerged as the second runner-up. It was a crushing experience for her: “I cried. I felt so bad. It’s a very terrible experience that’s not good for anyone. I f you go for a competition, you have the hope of winning and when you don’t, it’s very terrible. I became shy at a point because Delta State sent some commissioners who came to support me, so they were very disappointed”, she says. But that did not stop her from venturing further afield and it would be Nollywood where she tried out her luck next. “ I joined Nollywood two years ago because I was passionate about acting; l have always loved to act. So when the opportunity came; l enrolled in a  film school , got trained to be an actress and here l am today”, she said.

The Sanction On Telecom Operators

Image
The sanction for poor services is long overdue For quite some time, the rumble of discontent about the nation’s telecom services has failed to convey to the operators the necessary sense of urgency about their lousy operations. Now they have to pay for the vices of treating their customers with prolonged contempt. The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) recently came hard on three of the four major operators. Except for Etisalat, which was given a clean bill, MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd., Globacom Ltd and Airtel Network Ltd were fined N647.5 million for their demoralised services for the month of January 2014. Besides, according to the NCC, if they failed to pay the sanctions before March 7, 2014, the fee would be upped to N2.5 million daily. The three operators were also barred from selling new SIM cards throughout March in addition to a ban on all their annoying promotions until the identified key performance indicators (KPIs) are addressed. We welcome the intervention o

Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke •  IOC/NNPC in battle of wits over projects Determined to have a first hand understanding of the cause of the prolonged fuel scarcity across the country, the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, paid a surprise visit to several filling stations in Lagos Sunday and concluded that the marketers were behind the scarcity of the product. Speaking during the inspection of some filling stations in Lagos State, the minister said the country had enough PMS to meet the domestic demand. “We have enough fuel to wet the country, but the challenge we are having is that, after loading, some truck drivers will not supply the lifted products at the designated filling stations. Having gone round the state (Lagos), it is not just the filling stations at Ikoyi that appeared to be wet with product, but other extreme locations like Ajah and other parts in Surulere,” she said. This came on a day that the

Electronic Membrane Created To Keep Your Heart Beating Forever

Image
“My heart will go on, and on..” I can hear  Celine Dion  now.  And soon, your heart may be able to go on and on as well, thanks to a revolutionary electronic membrane designed to keep your  heart rate  beating perfectly.   The membrane is made from a  thin, circuit-lined stretchable material that has been developed at the  University of Illinois and Washington University by scientists.  This technology may be available for human hearts in 10 to 15 years. At this point, only rabbits can have a perfectly  beating heart .  Scientists custom-made the membrane to exactly fit the shape of a particular rabbit’s heart.  In order to do this, they followed two procedures.  Firstly, they scanned the rabbit’s heart while it was still alive and created a 3D model using computer aided tomography (sectional images through penetrating waves). Secondly, using a 3D printer, they assembled the model which they then used as a mould to design the membrane. Once the membrane was created, they took the

Microsoft To Launch Windows XP Warning Popup

Image
Last week, I asked (perhaps rhetorically)  if Microsoft’s push for people to ditch Windows XP will ever end . I suppose I can keep asking that, as Microsoft is supposed to launch a Windows XP warning popup on the 8th of March; and it’s supposed to look like the screenshot below. Everyone knows by now that end of support for Windows XP will end on April 8, 2014. By now, everyone also knows that Microsoft is heavily pushing its newer operating system, Windows 8.1, in spite of the low adoption rate for the latter – or perhaps “because of” is the better term. There is even talk about  Microsoft working on a free version of Windows 8.1 ! Guess what? A LOT of users will be seeing the Windows XP warning popup starting this weekend. According to this chart, almost 30% of  Windows users  are still on XP. That’s certainly not insignificant!
