Stepping out in New York City with her husband Kanye in tow, Kim-KW looked every inch the A-List glamazon. In a dramatic plunging, deep V that accentuated her curves, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian's superstar opted for an all black ensemble. She matched her gown with an over-sized Tuxedo jacket. Keeping the drama going in the beauty stakes too, this Kardashian opted for a smokey eye to compliment her signature contouring (we're pretty sure this should be officially renamed Kontouring at this point, no?)

Certificate Saga: Withdraw From The Race Or Get Fired By The Court, Don Tells Buhari

An eminent scholar, Professor Dupe Olatubosun, has advised the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Major General Muhammadu Buhari to “honourably withdraw” from the race to pave way for “a qualified person” from the party. Professor Olatubosun threatened to approach the court to seek Buhari’s disqualification, should the Katsina-born politician “fail to follow the path of honour.” The scholar spoke in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday, anchoring his position on what he called the non-qualification of Buhari to stand for the election because he failed to tender his secondary school certificate of education as required by laws.

Jonathan Storms Lagos, Blames Buhari, Obasanjo of Weakening Military

President Goodluck Jonathan today flagged of his presidential re-election campaign in Lagos blaming former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Muhammadu Buhari for doing little to equip the military. A charged Jonathan accused the former leaders of high-handedness and running Nigeria like a “jungle.” He urged Nigerians, especially persons under the age of 20 to support his administration with a promise to “do more”. At the capacity-filled Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, Jonathan, who described first-time voters as his target audience, predicted that the next election will focus on young people.

Group Writes Military Board, demands Buhari’s certificates

As the Muhammadu Buhari certificate scandal trends, the Leadership and Accountability Initiative ( LAI), has written to the Nigeria Military Board, requesting it to release the academic records of Buhari. The request, they said, is anchored on Section 1 and 7 of the Freedom of Information Act. The Abuja based group’s letter dated January 6, 2015, addressed to the Secretary, copied the Chief of Defence Staff and the Chief of Army Staff and signed by the Executive Coordinator, Nwazuruahu Henry Shield.

Marnie Simpson dropped a whopping 17lbs - going from 9st 10lbs to 8st 7lbs - in just a MONTH after being inspired by her co-stars. Plateau residents groan under harsh weather

Residents of Plateau State are groaning under severe cold weather. Plateau State has always been the coldest part of the country, because it is on top of a high altitude. The weather has worsened from the first day of the New Year, with the residents said they had not witnessed in a long time. The weather forecast by the Nigeria Meteorological Department put the temperature of Plateau State at eight degrees centigrade, the lowest in the last decade.

Why MEND Supports Buhari, by Jonathan

President Goodluck Jonathan today in Lagos gave an insight into why Movement for Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) endorsed his political rival, All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari. MEND had a few days ago endorsed Buhari’s candidacy for the upcoming presidential election, and urged Nigerians to vote out Jonathan, the PDP candidate. But speaking today at the flag-off of his presidential campaign, President Jonathan said there was no way a criminal organization like MEND would have supported his re-election bid having failed to assassinate him.

Shortage of Buhari’s scratch cards hits Adamawa

The Chairman of the Buhari Campaign Organisation in Adamawa State, Alhaji Ibrahim Waziri, has said the N3 million Buhari Scratch Cards supplied to the state were exhausted within 24 hours. Waziri addressed reporters yesterday in Yola, the state capital, on the scarcity of the cards. He said: “The N3 million cards so far supplied to the state, last week, have been sold to supporters in less than 24 hours. “Fresh supply is now on its way and, by the grace of God, the cards will be available on Friday.” Waziri said as soon as the cards arrived, the organisation would announce the designated selling points to interested buyers.

PDP governors give Jonathan new conditions

Jonathan Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are believed to have made new demands on President Goodluck Jonathan in return for their support in the February 14 election. The demands are assuaging those aggrieved; a commitment to run an all-inclusive government, if the President is re-elected; and an assurance to redeem his campaign pledges to any state or geopolitical zone. It was gathered that some of the governors and party leaders were unhappy over the way the results of governorship and other elective offices primaries were overturned by some forces in the Presidency.
