An earlier scheduled screening scheduled for last Thursday as published on Senate’s Notice Paper, failed to hold as the absence of Senate President  David Mark  and Senate Leader Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN) scuttled the executive. it was  however, gathered that the Senate may ditch the standing convention and screen Emefiele in the Committee of the Whole (he would appear before the Senate at plenary) and on  live television  and if confirmed, “he will have to wait till the tenure of the incumbent is over before he resumes office.” Sanusi’s tenure is expected to end in June.
