Musicians unite behind Jay Z streaming service

Jay Z purchased Swedish company Tidal earlier this month Musicians including Kanye West, Jack White, Rihanna, Madonna and Coldplay are uniting behind Jay Z's "artist-friendly" streaming site, Tidal. They all turned their Twitter profiles teal blue, to reflect Tidal's branding, on Sunday night. The site launches on Monday, promising CD-quality streaming and thousands of music videos, for a subscription fee.

Lubitz, 27, is suspected of deliberately crashing the plane in the Alps, killing all 150 people on board. Officials in Duesseldorf said the investigation to this point had revealed no clue to any motive. So far, DNA strands of 80 of the victims have been found.

FG considers 24-hour security lockdown ahead of presidential election result announcement

In order to forestall the likelihood of breakdown of law and order before and after the announcement of the result of Saturday’s presidential election, the Federal Government is considering a 24 hour total nationwide security lockdown. According to a top security source, the Federal Government, bearing in mind the simultaneous violence that greeted the release of 2011 election result, is taking the measure to nip in the bud any violence that may likely occur.

Zidane expresses interest in Real Madrid job

Rouhani's Iran Talks have resumed in Switzerland ahead of Tuesday's deadline for a preliminary nuclear deal with Iran. Foreign ministers from six world powers are meeting their Iranian counterpart, amid hopes of a breakthrough after almost 18 months of negotiations. They want to impose limits that would prevent Iran from producing enough fuel for a nuclear weapon within a year.

The hotly contested election has been marred by problems with its voting system Nigeria's election body says it expects to announce the first results of Saturday's keenly contested presidential poll on Tuesday. Incumbent Goodluck Jonathan is facing a strong challenge from former military ruler Muhammadu Buhari. Election held in Rivers, INEC insists

CAN: Secure Volatile Areas Before Release of Election Results

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has advised that adequate security measures be put in place in volatile areas across the country before the announcement of election results. CAN’s Chairman, North-east Zone, Rev. Shuaubu Byel, made the suggestion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Bauchi. Byel said the measure would help in averting post-election violence, especially in regard to the outcome of the presidential election.

Female Singer, Zara Gretti’s Grave Missing At Ikoyi Cemetery

Nigerian female act, Zara Gretti who died March 28th, last year after battling Multiple Sclerosis for years before finally given up the ghost is now missing in her grave. A NET reporter who went to Ikoyi Cemetery to see her grave in preparation of their report on her 1st death anniversary got the shock of his life when Zara’s grave was missing despite searching the whole of the cemetery. The cemetery attendant also confirmed to the reporter that she was actually buried there on the 4th of April, 2014 according to their register.
