Aregbesola won’t sell helicopter to pay Osun workers salaries – APC

Aregbesola The All Progressives Congress has stated that Governor Rauf Aregbesola will not sell the helicopter purchased by his administration. It said the helicopter was bought for surveillance purposes. The Peoples Democratic Party in the state had called on the state governor to sell off the helicopter in other to pay civil servants in the state their salaries.

All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders are backing Ahmed Lawan, Femi Gbajabiamila, George Akume and five others as principal officers of the National Assembly, The Nation learnt last night. The party has adopted the lists submitted to it by The Unity Forum (Senate) and The Loyalists (House of Representatives) to heal the wounds and reconcile all after the June 9 controversial elections.

Keshi Stephen Keshi, the Super Eagles’ Head Coach, on Monday said his appearance before the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Disciplinary Committee would not deter him from doing his job. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that NFF had summoned Keshi to appear before its disciplinary committee on June 23.

The Rivers state commissioner for housing, Emma Okah , has dismissed the insinuation by former governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that Governor Nyesom Wike’s probe into his administration is as an attempt to witch hunt and ridicule his person. Governor Wike (left) and former governor, Amaechi (right) Amaechi had few days ago reacted to the a judicial commission of inquiry set up by Wike to probe his tenure as governor. He described the move as a fraudulent witch hunt of his administration.
