Beyonce may not have made it to the wedding, but she was eager to share some well wishes for newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The 32-year-old singer  took to Instagram to post a message for Kimye  following their extravagant nuptials in Italy, writing, "Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family," alongside a photo from their Vogue shoot with baby North.

Some of the biggest names in music took to the stage over the weekend-long event organised by BBC Radio 1. Coldplay, One Direction, Calvin Harris and Kings of Leon were among the acts who entertained the crowds at Glasgow Green. Instead the four-year-old seems more interested in becoming a dancer than a striker, according to mum Coleen. Manchester United and England hero Wayne, 28, has paraded Kai on the Old Trafford pitch and was seen larking around with the youngster, above, at an England training session in Portugal last week. But  Coleen  admits: "Kai isn't much into sports at the moment, although he is always running around and likes to try new things. Kieran Hayler, 27, agreed to the test after the pregnant glamour model cottoned on to his seven-month fling with her best friend Jane Pountney. Kieran admitted he thought he could fool the machine, which checks heart rate and other body signals, that he and Jane, 48, had only shared a drunken kiss on holiday in Cape Verde. And he revealed Katie, 36, threw a book and a candle at his head before the infamous tweets told the whole word about the affair. Kieran told The Sun newspaper: "I promised Kate I would do a lie detector test. "It was horrible. "It felt like being on death row in the electric chair."

The Blade Runner was driven into the facility in a Chevrolet Sonic this morning and security around the hospital remains tight. He will undergo tests to see if his Generalised Anxiety Disorder played any role in the shooting of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. He will be monitored by four psychiatrists as an outpatient for 30 days, meaning he will have to visit every weekday for the next six weeks. There was a chance that he might have been admitted as an inpatient, but he will report there daily from 9am until 4pm. Following  their lavish wedding in Italy  on Saturday Kimye arrived by private jet at Cork Airport at 3pm and were met by a fleet of Mercedes limousines. The pair were whisked off for an extravagant five-day honeymoon in one of the country’s most luxurious hotels. The Presidency has denied media reports that President Goodluck Jonathan was booed in Pretoria over his perceived mishandling of the case of the more than 200 schoolgirls abducted in Chibok, Borno State during the inauguration of President Jacob Zuma. The media reports had claimed that the crowd at the inauguration registered their disapproval of government’s inability to rescue the girls one month after, with boos of “Bring back our girls” directed at Jonathan as he stepped into the venue of the swearing in ceremony. In its front page story on Friday,  Punch  claimed that military service chiefs confronted the minister over delays in releasing the security budget.
