Africa Confirms 3rd Ebola Victim Rises From The Dead, Releases Picture Of First “Ebola Zombie” Captured

Officials in Liberia have released the first confirmed image of a captured Ebola victim who rose from the dead. The name of the victim has not been released by the WHO, and news of the patient rising from the dead comes only hours after the United States announced its first Ebola victim in Dallas, Texas. The Liberian government is accusing the United States of creating Ebola as a bio weapon to use for future wars. Citizens of Liberia have expressed outrage and concern that the US may have tested an‘evolved’ form of the virus on their nation’s populace, not forseeing the virus’ spread reaching beyond medical containment.

S’ Africa seizes fresh N952m cash for arms from Nigeria

Three weeks after South Africa confiscated $9.3m belonging to the Federal Government over an alleged illegal arms deal, the South African authorities have seized another $5.7m arms money from Nigeria. Last month, two Nigerians and an Israeli were arrested at Lanseria International Airport, Johannesburg, after they attempted to smuggle $9.3m to South Africa which the Federal Government described as a legitimate business deal to purchase arms for the Nigerian intelligence services.

Aluu 4: Group laments delay in trial of suspects

Society for the Promotion of Better Nigeria, PBN, yesterday, decried the continued closure of the state owned courts, saying it has slowed down the wheel of justice on the brutal murder of four students of the University of Port Harcourt at Aluu, two years ago. Executive Director of the body, Mr. Livingston Wechie, in a statement, said it was sad that two years after the murder of the students, justice was still not in sight for families of the deceased.

Military arrests 50 vandals, recovers 100 canoes, 3,000 jerrycans in Lagos

The Military has arrested 50 persons suspected of vandalising pipelines at Majidun area of Ikorodu in Lagos. About 100 canoes and ferries used by the vandals were reportedly recovered as at 7.30p.m. on Saturday. Vanguard gathered that over 1,000 jerricans filled with siphoned petroleum product and over 2,000 empty ones were also recovered. The raid, which was jointly carried out by personnel of Nigerian Navy and Army, reportedly started last Saturday.

400 Boko Haram insurgents killed in battle to retake Bazza, Michika, Madagali

Heavy fighting between Nigerian troops and Boko Haram terrorists ensued yesterday in Adamawa State as soldiers backed from the air by Nigerian Airforce attack helicopters launched an attack to retake territories in the possession of Boko Haram. In the ensuing battle that continued into the night, Vanguard gathered that about 400 Boko Haram terrorist had been killed while there were casualties on the part of the Nigerian soldiers. Military sources in Adamawa state told Vanguard that the onslaught to retake the towns of Bazza, Michika and Madagali was launched from the town of Vimtim, the hometown of the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh and that the General Officer Commanding 3 division of the Army, Major General Mohammed Zaruwa was coordinating the onslaught
