Rihanna flashes her bum in low cut gold gown at Met Gala afterparty

Image
Bum alert She may have been  photobombed by BFF Queen Delevingne on the red carpet  . But Rihanna well and truly stole the show when she showed off her builders' bum at the Up & Down nightclub in  New York  on Monday. The Pour it Up singer  flashed her bottom-cleavage (yep, really, on purpose) in a low slung gold bum-baring gown which left very little to the imagination. It seems since her Vogue shoot Ri-Ri has become increasingly comfortable showing off her  naked body , because she gave the world a real eyeful in her sparkly number.

The difference between red carpet fame and red carpet shame is roughly measured by an inch of cloth.

Splash / Rex Oops - Kim and Rita struggle to stay covered The difference between  red carpet fame  and  red carpet shame  is roughly measured by an inch of cloth. It's a fine margin, and Kim Kardashian was left red-faced after  she flashed her knickers at the Met Ball on Monday night . The unfortunate wardrobe malfunction happened before the reality TV star even arrived at the star-studded bash Kim and her partner  Kanye West  were leaving the Lanvin store where she had her striking custom made frock fitted, when she gave onlookers a bit of an eyeful. However, Kim wasn't the only star to suffer a bit of a faux pas at the event, with Rita Ora's style choices not exactly going down a storm either. Her gold  Donna Karan  sequinned silk tulle gown and gold lace boot combo fell flat, but not dressing to impress was the least of her worries. Her style credentials took another bashing when she followed Kim's example by  accidentally flashed her knicke

Fears over serial killer after naked woman's body found 'crucified' and hanging from bridge

Image
Hunt: The victim had been raped and tortured before she was killed, police say Italian police are hunting a possible  serial killer  after the  naked body  of a woman was found "crucified" and hanging from a bridge. The body of 26-year-old Andrea Cristina Zamfir was found kneeling, with her wrists taped to a horizontal bar and arms outstretched “as if she had been crucified”, witnesses told police. Andrea, a Romanian immigrant, had been raped and tortured before she died,  medical tests  revealed. Detectives fear her death is linked to similar attacks on nine other women in the Florence and Prato areas in the past decade. A 46-year-old  Italian woman  survived an almost identical attack. She was found bound to the same horizontal bar in March last year by passers who heard her screaming for help.

It’s a party, but small children probably shouldn’t be invited

Image
A gingham patterned pantomime horse trots around the stage while a twerking chicken fills the  big screen : it can only be the start of a Miley Cyrus gig. After she slides down an enormous replica of her own tongue, of course. The real hits, including  Wrecking Ball  and  Party in the  USA, are saved until the very end of the show, but the party atmosphere kicks off at the very start. Parental Advisory warnings play out as  the singer  writhes on top of a car, bending over and opens up her Bangerz tour. And it’s probably for the best we got a warning: before long she is joined by a stripping policewoman with LED boobs, and she’s shoving pretend money into her backside while wearing a leotard made of dollar bills. It’s a long way from Disney’s Hannah Montana...

Woman 'posted fake rape me invitation online to get men to attack colleague after row'

Image
Jim Bennett Joanne Berry outside Maidstone Crown Court A woman tried to get a female colleague raped at home by men she tricked in  online sex  chatrooms, a court heard yesterday. Joanne Berry, 30, is alleged to have posed on websites including ‘Cougar Shag’ as a woman who liked “role play” sex and wanted “to create some sort of rape scenario”. The office  administrator from Grove Park,  south east London , allegedly then invited the men to go to her home and carry out a fantasy rape. However, she gave the name, telephone number and address of a colleague who she had fallen out with and who cannot be named for legal reasons, the jury was told. The court heard  that on one occasion a man, Dean Hicks, knocked at the front door of the alleged intended victim then burst in to “rape” her as instructed by Berry. Prosecutor Andrew Espley told  Maidstone Crown Court  in Kent: “Joanne Berry arranged for men to go round to [the colleague’s] house and rape her. “How did she do it?

US changes visa rules to keep foreign talent

Image
The United States said on Tuesday it will soon start issuing work visas to the spouses of some foreign workers as part of a drive to retain highly skilled people. The change will affect the spouses of people with so-called H-1B visas, a limited-term working visa that employees obtain when they are sponsored by their companies. As it stands now, their spouses only get a "dependent" H-4 visa which allows them to live in the US but not to work. When spouses cannot work foreign families tend not to settle in the United States, depriving it of many workers highly skilled in science and technology. Under the changes, spouses of people with H-1B visas who have applied for permanent residency 'green cards' can also apply for permission to work. "The proposals announced today will encourage highly skilled, specially trained individuals to remain in the United States and continue to support US businesses and the growth of the US economy," said Deputy Secretary of H

Brazil no war zone - minister

Image
Brazilian sports minister Aldo Rebelo on Tuesday admitted the World Cup faced "serious" security problems - but said the country was not a war zone like Iraq or Afghanistan. Riots rocked Rio de Janeiro's famous Copacabana Beach district last month and fears about safety for thousands of football fans visiting Brazil were heightened last week by the fatal shooting of man during a clash with police close to the England team hotel in the city. "We all have our tragedies and challenges, serious problems relating to security," said Rebelo as he embarked on a spirited defence of Brazil, which is racing to be ready to host the World Cup from June 12 and has had to deal with years of negative press headlines. But calling for perspective, he said: "I don't think the English will confront greater threats in Manaus than in the Iraqi provinces or Afghanistan, where they recently lost hundreds of young soldiers." He did though concede that in Rio in particu

UN: Warlord Kony hiding in S Sudan enclave

Warlord Joseph Kony and some of his Lord's Resistance Army commanders are hiding in Sudanese-controlled areas of a disputed enclave in South Sudan bordering Central African Republic and Sudan, the United Nations said on Tuesday. In a report to the UN Security Council on the activities of Kony's LRA, Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said Sudan's government had indicated there were no elements of the group in the disputed Kafia Kingi enclave. "However, credible sources suggest LRA leader Joseph Kony and senior LRA commanders have recently returned to seek safe haven in Sudanese-controlled areas of the enclave," Ban said. Kony, who has been indicted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court in The Hague, waged a brutal guerrilla war against Ugandan government in the north of the country for nearly two decades, before fleeing with his fighters into the jungles of central Africa around 2005.
