Lenovo's new Chinese smartphone looks just a little similar to Apple's iPhone 6

Image
Finding knock-off versions of the latest iPhone is common in China, but it’s not often that big-name manufacturers (especially those looking for credibility and customers in the West) are making them. Not so for Lenovo, the world’s biggest PC manufacturer and fourth or third (it depends how you read it) biggest mobile seller. Their new China-only S90 'Sisley' is a mid-range device which just happens to look near identical to the iPhone 6. It has the same rounded metal case, the same colour options and the same advertising – with Lenovo evenproducing a similar wallpaper to the one used in the iPhone 6 promo shots (this isn’t an insignificant thing to copy – wallpapers are often easier to identify than the phones themselves).

Taking credit for killing bin Laden sparks debate

Image
Some special operations service members and veterans are unhappy that one of their own has taken credit publicly for killing Osama bin Laden. Others say they have gotten used to the idea that their brethren might break the code of silence and seek to profit from their deeds. O'Neill had recounted his version of the bin Laden raid in February 2013 to Esquire magazine, which identified him only as "the shooter." In a story Thursday, The Washington Post identified him by name as he described shooting the leader of the terrorist group behind the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.That internal debate gained intensity this week when retired Navy SEAL Robert O'Neill acknowledged that he had fired two rounds into the forehead of the al-Qaida leader during the 2011 raid on his secret compound in Pakistan. O'Neill says more and more people were becoming aware of his role and that his name was bound to become public anyway.

BARACK OBAMA HAS A FEW CHOICE WORDS FOR MICHAEL JORDAN

During his storied basketball career, Michael Jordan rarely faced an opponent he couldn’t beat. But it seems His Airness has finally found an opponent who might just be too powerful for him to contain. I’m of course referring to the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Jordan made headlines recently for calling President Barack Obama a bad golfer. Or some variation of the word “bad,” that is. Earlier this week, Obama took time out of his midterm election campaigning to address Jordan’s claim. Yup. It’s THAT serious, guys. Skip ahead to the 7:10 mark to hear Obama talk about Jordan, or listen to the whole thing to hear why you should have voted yesterday. Oh snap! As if calling Jordan “not informed” wasn’t enough, Obama then totally dropped the mic with this dagger: “There is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case. He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bo

Fans of the singer have expressed concern after watching a video of her at the basketball Hold up. Beyonce is the queen of cool - she always looks calm and collected whatever she’s doing. But on Monday night Queen Bey looked far from ‘cool’ as she attended a basketball game with hubby Jay Z. In fact we’d go as far to say she doesn’t even look like the Beyonce we know and love. Bey?  In a video, which is circulating like wild fire on the Internet, the pop superstar can first be seen saying something to her husband – which looks like a bit of a row. And then she starts swaying back and forth while closing her eyes and moving her lips.
