Give us a leg up! (Picture: AP) Most parents encourage their kids to knuckle down and do their homework when it comes to getting a good education. But these parents in India took a more radical approach. During India’s equivalent to GCSE exam time, they scaled the walls of a school building in their droves to help their children to cheat.

Security remains heightened around the museum while the army has been deployed to large cities The president of Tunisia, Beji Caid Essebsi, is to address the nation, two days after an attack on the Bardo museum in the capital Tunis killed 23 people, mostly foreign tourists. The address comes on the day that marks 59 years of Tunisia's independence from France and following Wednesday's attack security has been heightened across the country. Islamic State has said it was behind the attack.

Suicide attacks on Yemeni mosques kill 46

Suicide bombers have blown themselves up at two mosques in the centre of Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, killing at least 46 people, reports say. Worshippers were attending noon prayers at the Badr and al-Hashoosh mosques when at least two bombers struck. The mosques are used mainly by supporters of the Zaidi Shia-led Houthi rebel movement, which controls Sanaa.

The 55-year-old music mogul was travelling to the American city from London with his 13-month-old tot, and the toddler's occasional crying and restlessness left one one fellow passenger so annoyed he asked to be moved away from the famous father and his tot.

President Goodluck Jonathan: "I'm very hopeful that it will not take us more than a month to recover the old territories" Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has said he hopes that all territory seized by Islamist militant group Boko Haram will be retaken within a month. "They are getting weaker and weaker by the day," he told the BBC. But the president - who faces elections in a week - admitted the response to the insurgents' initial advance in north-east Nigeria had been too slow. The army has claimed recent victories over Boko Haram in a conflict that has killed thousands since 2012.

DSS Explains Reason For Petrol Scarcity

The Department of State Services (DSS) said investigation revealed that the current petrol scarcity in the Northern part of the country was premised on fear of post-election violence. This is contained in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the DSS, Marilyn Ogar on Thursday in Abuja. Ogar explained that the situation was as a result of fear by the National Association of Transport Owners (NARTO) that they might be caught in “likely election violence as was witnessed in 2011.

The Head coach of Uganda’s National Team, Miltun ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, has reeled out a list of 25-players for next week’s friendly between his side and the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Topping the list of players for the friendly match billed to take place on March 25 at the Akwa Ibom International stadium is Seattle Sounders’ star, Azira Mike. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Wednesday, slammed the All Progressives Congress (APC) for trying to link President Goodluck Jonathan to Monday’s protest by the members of the Odu’a Peoples Congress (OPC) in Lagos. The inspector-general of police (IGP), Suleman Abba, has raised the alarm over plots by some politicians to declare parallel election results, warning that the police will deal with such persons within the limits of the law.
