Katie Price  has confirmed she IS pregnant with her fifth child and has already reached the end of her second trimester – despite not even knowing she had conceived. The glamour model is six months pregnant but didn't realise until she got back home from her holiday in Cape Verde at the end of last month. Speaking to  Now  magazine, the 35-year-old explained that she'd had some really bad stomach pains during her getaway with third husband  Kieran Hayler  and kids Harvey, Junior, Princess and Jett – but didn't put two and two together until they returned to Blighty. "I didn't feel pregnant, though. The day we flew home, we all got into the house at 1am and I thought the first thing I'd do when I woke up was a pregnancy test," she wrote in her column. "When I did it, it came up positive." The news was broken yesterday by a source who told the  Sun on Sunday  that Katie will give birth later this summer – pretty much a year after hav

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly got married in a private ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend. The couple, who got engaged in October, allegedly tied the knot in a private ceremony in Los Angeles this weekend after securing their marriage license last week. A source told Life & Style magazine: "Kim and Kanye are now married on paper. They got their license in California over the past few days." However, the secretive ceremony won't be their only wedding as it is set to be followed by a lavish extravaganza in Paris later this month in front of all their family, friends and celebrity acquaintances. The loved-up duo - who have 10-month-old daughter North together - are set to walk down the aisle on May 24 before jetting off to a secret location on honeymoon. Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, were forced to legally wed in California before their romantic bash in Paris after it was revealed the French law requires a strict 40-day residency before they can get marri

Oscar Pistorius trial: Live updates as Blade Runner's defence team resumes its case following Easter break

Stander confirms he heard no shots or screams on the night Reeva was killed. The witness says he is 100% sure about what he heard Pistorius say on the phone when he called him after the shooting. He says he considered Pistorius to be a friend. Stander takes the court through the route he used to get to Pistorius' house the morning of the shooting. Prosecutor Gerrie Nel now begins his cross examination.  He begins by asking Stander about the incidents of crime he talked about on the estate. He asks Stander is Silverwoods was a safe place to stay in January 2013. The witness says it's as a safe as a place can be. Stander says he can recall three incidents of crime on the estate previously. He says these incidents would be reported to security and discussed at meetings of the management committee.

S Sudan: Troops capture 2 towns from rebels

Image
A South Sudanese military spokesperson says government troops have captured a rebel stronghold and taken back control of another town, sending rebels fleeing toward the Ethiopian border. The government offensive comes just days after President Salva Kiir told US Secretary of State John Kerry that he was ready to hold peace talks with rebel leader and former vice president Riek Machar after a peace deal in January failed. Colonel Philip Aguer said on Monday government troops have taken over the rebel base of Nasir, in the Upper Nile region, and re-captured Bentiu from rebel control. Aguer says Bentiu was taken after a day-long firefight, with an unknown number of casualties. South Sudan has been rocked by violence since December, when the president accused the former vice president of staging a coup.

Paul Walker's car collection is for sale

Image
Paul Walker's car collection has reportedly gone on sale.  The late actor's car and racing shop Always Evolving has teamed up with his estate to organise the sale of 30 luxury vehicles - including BMWs, Audis, Mustangs and Porsches - following his death last November, according to TMZ.com. However, the star's estate have not used his name in connection with the sale as it is believed Paul wouldn't have wanted his profile to boost the prices of the cars. All sales will be conducted through high-end brokers. Paul died along with his friend Roger Rodas on 30 November after the Porsche Carrera GT they were travelling in crashed into a tree and burst into flames in California.  The coroner listed speed as the lone reason for the fatal crash after investigators found no sign of mechanical fault. Following his death, the Always Evolving shop - which was founded in 2012 by Paul and Roger - allegedly closed in December, but the firm's website is still in operation.

Wenger confirms Gunners stay

Image
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insisted Sunday he'll be back for another season at the club, ending speculation that he might leave after nearly 18 years at the helm. Wenger has yet to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring after this campaign, and was asked after a 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday whether he'll be back next season. "Yes," he replied. "I don't know (when I will sign a new deal). I told you many times that my word is my word. I am from a period where you didn't need a pen to commit." He suggested that one factor that had been holding him back was waiting to see if the club would secure a top-four finish this season, which it did after Everton lost to Manchester City on Saturday. "It was of course important to be in the Champions League, that is for sure," he said. Under Wenger's leadership, Arsenal has secured Champions League football for 17 consecutive seasons and overseen a lucrativ

Restrictions are already in place at airports in Abuja and the financial capital, Lagos, after a warning that two top city hotels were under threat. Schools and government offices in the capital will also be closed.

Jonathan says FG not negotiating with abductors of Chibok schoolgirls

Image
President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday dismissed insinuations that the Federal Government was negotiating with Boko Haram to secure the release of the abducted school girls in Borno. Jonathan said at a Presidential Media chat in Abuja that the government could not have been negotiating with faceless people. He, however, reassured parents, guardians and all Nigerians that government would rescue all the abducted girls. The President, who described the abduction of the innocent girls as painful, appealed to their parents and guardians to cooperate with security agencies to enable them secure the release of the children. He said the Federal Government was in touch with the neighbouring countries of Benin Republic, Chad, Niger and those in the North-African sub-continent, to secure the release of the girls. He expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the nation’s security agencies, noting that the activities of the terrorists were being checked across the country.

‘List’ of Abducted Chibok Girls released by Christian Association Of Nigeria

Evangelist Matthew Owojaiye of the Old Time Revival Hour Church in Kaduna has published a list of 180 abducted girls of the Government Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State, calling on all Nigerian Christians for lamentation prayers for their safe release. He did not say how he obtained the list, and SaharaReporters has not been able to authenticate it. Chibok Local Government is 90% Christians,” he said in a statement on Sunday. “Majority of the girls abducted are Christian! Why did Boko Haram visit Chibok Local Government? Why didn’t they visit so many other Local Government Girls Secondary Schools in Borno State?” He described the abduction as an abomination.  “Daughters of Zion taken captive, to be treated as slaves and sold into marriage to unclean people. Abomination has been committed. “Raise lamentation to High Heavens. What a shame on the Church of the Living God.” The list published by Evangelist Owojaiye features 180 girls, of whom 165 are said to be Christian

Jonathan said in a televised “media chat” Sunday night that he believes Nigeria is winning its war against an Islamic uprising. Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan met with security, school and state officials and ordered that “everything must be done” to free the 276 girls held captive by Islamic extremists, one of his advisers said  Sunday amid growing national outrage at the government’s response to the abduction. Jonathan said he has been asking for and getting help from the United States but that President Barack Obama has expressed concern to him about allegations of gross human rights abuses by security forces accused of summary executions and the killings in detention of thousands of people. “I said, ‘Send someone to see what we are doing and assist us, give us equipment that will help us, because we need sophisticated (equipment), don’t just say there is some matter of alleged abuses,” Jonathan said, describing one of two conversations with the U.S. leader.
