Cara Delevingne Nude For Esquire

Image
As you guys probably know, I’ve never exactly been a big fan of Cara Delevingne. I think she’s pretty overrated as far as models go. That said, I am a fan of these “classy” black-and-white naked photoshoots like the ones she did for Esquire‘s September issue. Hmm. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt this conflicted before. That’s one of those emotions you can feel in your pants region, right?

Russell Westbrook finally acknowledged Kevin Durant's decision to join the Warriors, and their breakup sounds surprisingly cold

Image
When Kevin Durant became a free agent this offseason, many felt it would be impossible for him to walk away from a superstar in his prime like Russell Westbrook, on a team so close to championship contention. However, Durant ultimately decided to join the Golden State Warriors, breaking up one of the NBA's great duos in the process. While Durant has acknowledged the decision to leave Westbrook and the Thunder, Westbrook has largely stayed quiet. Outside of a fan video where he mockingly laughed when asked about Durant, Westbrook hasn't even mentioned his former All-Star teammate. However, after signing a three-year, $86 million extension with the Thunder on Thursday, Westbrook held a press conference, and of course, fielded questions about Durant. Surprisingly, Westbrook's version of the tale paints a much colder-than-expected breakup of two players who had the potential to form a dynasty together. When asked how he found out about Durant leaving, Westbrook sa

Tottenham Hotspur 6-1 Inter Milan: Harry Kane bags a brace as Dele Alli, Erik Lamela and Vincent Janssen all grab goals with Spurs running riot in Oslo

Image
Tottenham will be delighted with their work in Oslo as they absolutely demolished Inter Milan at the Ullevaal Stadion to lay down a marker ahead of the new Premier League season. Mauricio Pochettino watched from the dugout as a strong Spurs side hit six past the Italians in Oslo. Harry Kane's form will buoy his manager, as the England striker marked his post-Euro 2016 return with a brace. When Kane scored from the spot just minutes five in Tottenham always looked likely to run up a score, but Ivan Perisic did equalise 20 minutes later. Erik Lamela put the English side back ahead before half-time with Dele Alli, Kane, Vincent Janssen and Shayon Harrison all scoring in the second half.  Most of Spurs' Euro 2016 stars came back into the team with young defender Cameron Carter-Vickers keeping his spot in central defence, alongside Toby Alderweireld. Tottenham started the match at Premier League pace and won themselves a penalty after just five minutes. Kyle

Breakout Stars to Watch for at the 2016 Summer Olympics

Image
With blazing speed and a compelling backstory, Team USA's Boris Berian is one of several athletes destined to become a breakout star at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympic Games. To the people who religiously follow the sports on the following slides, calling these athletes "breakout stars" would be the equivalent of bestowing the same title upon MLB's Mike Trout or the NFL's Andrew Luck if either was to lead his team to a championship. Each has already proved himself or herself to be a star over the past several years. But for the greater portion of the population that tunes in for the Summer Olympics and then willfully forgets for 47 months that sports such as gymnastics, swimming and track and field still exist, these athletes who have never won an Olympic medal will appear to come out of nowhere. So get to know these rising stars. That way, when everyone else is blathering on about aging Olympic stars like the USA's Michael Phelps, Jamaica&#

Thousands denounce Turkey coup in Cyprus' breakaway north

Image
NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) — Several thousand demonstrators have rallied in Cyprus' capital Nicosia to denounce the July 15 failed coup in Turkey and show support for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Demonstrators, including many mainland Turks who live in the island's breakaway north, chanted pro-democracy slogans along with Erdogan's name in an outburst of national fervor in Sarayonu Square Friday. An eight-meter (26-foot) banner emblazoned with the image of modern Turkey's founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was flanked by the flags of Turkey and the breakaway Turkish Cypriots. Images of Ataturk in military uniform and civilian clothes were also projected onto a massive screen behind a stage where speakers addressed the crowd. Read the Original

'It's time for America to forgive him.' Justin Gatlin's manager says the sprinter - twice banned for doping - will beat Usain Bolt and bring home untarnished gold for the USA

Image
Team US Olympic officials have pleaded for America to finally forgive drug cheat athlete Justin Gatlin as he bids to become the fastest man in the world. New York-born Gatlin is planning to give current Olympic champion Usain Bolt ' a run for his money' after claiming bronze against the Jamaican four years ago. Gatlin won gold in 2004 at the Athens games, but was later convicted of a doping offense and served a four-year ban, returning to competitive athletics on 2011. It was the second controversy to descend on the 34-year-old track star after he was banned in 2001 from international competition for two years. He tested positive for amphetamines, but later successfully appealed that the positive test had been due to medication that he had been taking since his childhood, when he was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. But the sprinter has not been able to shake off his accusers and his coaches are insistent beating Bolt to the Olympic title should

Biggest name touted by Trump for economic advice bows out: Carl Icahn WON'T help Republican candidate

Image
Billionaire investor Carl Icahn turned down an invitation to join Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's economic advisory council because Icahn is considering funding a Super PAC focused on regulatory reform, Icahn's general counsel told Reuters on Friday. This would be his second Super PAC. Technically known as independent expenditure-only committees, Super PACs may raise unlimited sums of money from corporations, unions, associations and individuals, then spend unlimited sums to advocate for or against political candidates. The first Super PAC Icahn formed had an initial commitment of $150 million and was targeted at 'tax inversions,' which occur when a company moves its headquarters outside the United States to take advantage of lower tax rates elsewhere. 'Mr. Icahn declined the opportunity to join the Trump economic advisory council because at this time, we're still considering whether to fund and manage our own Super PAC focused on re

Benghazi film '13 Hours' sees almost unheard of $40million in home video sales 'thanks to Trump's attacks on Clinton

Michael Bay's film 13 Hours, about the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya, is seeing astronomical home video sales, believed to be sparked by Donald Trump's attacks on Hillary Clinton. Since the film was released digitally in May by Paramount, sales for the film have reached $40million - a level unheard of for such a film. That puts it on target to outreach it's domestic box office results of $52.9million, considered to be a modest return. The film, which had a budget of $50million, also pulled in $69.4million in international box office sales. The film's unusual home video success comes amid Trump's continued criticisms of Clinton's record as secretary of state. Clinton was head of the State Department in 2012, when the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi was stormed by Islamic extremists and the ambassador was killed among many others. The film chronicles a group of American security officers trying to defend the diplomatic compound. Bay has said in the past that he do

Clinton tries to 'clarify' email comments – and adds to confusion

Image
Hillary Clinton tried Friday to “clarify” her widely disputed claim that the FBI director had declared her statements on her email scandal “truthful” – but may have ended up adding to the confusion, delivering a lengthy and at-times conflicting explanation that the Donald Trump campaign later called “pretzel-like.” The Democratic presidential candidate addressed the controversy when she fielded questions from reporters with the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She was asked early on about her statement, on “Fox News Sunday,” that FBI Director James Comey had affirmed her answers on her email controversy “were truthful and what I've said is consistent with what I have told the American people.” Fact-checkers have roundly slammed that claim, noting that’s not exactly what Comey said. Clinton, however, seemed to stand by her comments on Friday, saying she was referring to her answers in her FBI interview -- w

Bishnoi. He said that one gunman was killed by security forces and troops were pursuing five others who fled. Several homes and shops were badly damaged in the attack. Police blamed a faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland for the attack. The group has been fighting for an independent homeland for the region's Bodo tribespeople for decades. The Bodos are an indigenous tribe in Assam, making up 10 percent of the state's 33 million people. Friday's attack was the worst in the recent past, but the group was blamed for the shooting deaths of mo
