Top Nollywood actress Funke Akindele a.k.a. Jenifa has reportedly signed a multimillion naira   deal   with a sport-betting outfit, called 1960. The actress will be working as the  company ’s  brand ambassador , while also doing promotional activities for it. It was gathered that the commercials, which will run on some national and  international television  stations, was shot a few days ago around Jebba in Ebute Metta in Lagos State. Akindele, a graduate of Law from the  University of Lagos , Akoka, became famous after she featured in I Need to Know, a family-oriented TV programme. In 2009, she won the  African Movie   Academy Award  for Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Kim Kardashian insists her upcoming wedding will be "super small" and intimate. The 33-year-old reality TV star is set to marry Kanye West in Paris in May and, despite reports it will be an extravagant affair, she admits friends and family members are being axed from their guest list every day. The  Keeping Up with the Kardashians  beauty said: "We're having a super, super, just small, intimate...as we're going along we're realising that we just want it to be more small and intimate than people are imagining and thinking." Stephen Keshi’s decision not to pick Villarreal striker Ikechukwu Uche for the  Nigeria World  Cup squad has been shot down by former Super Eagles midfielder Garba Lawal. The reason for the players axing is based on what the Super  Eagles  coach termed, the player ‘lacks tactical discipline’. Uche has scored 12 goals this season for Villarreal. The last time he featured for Nigeria was in the 2013  Africa Cup  of Nations final in  South Africa . In a chat with  Daily Trust , Lawal said he was dumbfounded when he heard that Keshi was not including Uche in his plans for the World Cup in Brazil.

  Rihanna has been partying in Paris with Drake. The  Pour It Up  singer fuelled rumours she was back with her ex by joining him at Soixante Dix Neuf nightclub in the French capital, where Drake was making a personal appearance for the venue's first anniversary on Monday night.  The Bajan beauty - who had a brief fling with the rapper in 2009 in the wake of her split from on/off beau Chris Brown - sipped on cocktails made with Belvedere Vodka and watched as Drake took to the DJ booth.  A source told Us Weekly: "She didn't want to be seen at all. Terrified students have fled boarding schools after an attack by suspected Boko Haram extremists in which 43 students were shot and hacked to death and the whole school razed. Students refused to stay overnight in their schools and colleges in the wake of the attack on the Federal Government College in Buni Yadi, Yobe state on Tuesday.
