A traditional marriage ceremony is taking place tomorrow Saturday, October 4, at her family house in Spintex, Accra. Mensah-Doku and boyfriend of some years are beginning the process of what would later lead to a full wedding. He works at Telecommunications outfit, Tigo, according to sources.

The reaction of Defence Headquarters titled The Purported Shekau Video in Circulation is as follows: “The Defence Headquarters is studying the claims made in the video purportedly released by the terrorists showing their leader Abubakar Shekau as dismissing his death. From immediate observation and what some online news outlets claimed to have seen, the video did not indicate when it was shot neither did it show any proof of life or currency such as screen time or date. The video also did not make any reference to anything that has happened since the impostor’s reported death." Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' Video to Be Re-Released in 3-D

In 2015, Michael Jackson fans will see a sight under the moonlight that could almost stop their heart. Director John Landis is bringing a 3-D version of the music video for Michael Jackson's "Thriller" to life, according to the New York Daily News. Exactly how fans will be seeing the video isn't set in stone yet, but Landis hinted at a Blu-ray and possibly theatrical release. A dispute with Jackson's estate held up the project for "many years," Landis told the News, but – in his words – "we settled and they paid me finally … so actually there is something happening with 'Thriller.' "

Google Responds to Jennifer Lawrence Attorney's $100 Million Lawsuit Threat

"We've removed tens of thousands of pictures," says the web giant On Wednesday, attorney Marty Singer slammed Google in a letter that threatened a lawsuit with at least $100 million in damages for allegedly facilitating the posting of hacked nude photos. Although Singer was silent about exactly whom he was representing, records of takedown requests indicate he's challenging Google's conduct on behalf of Jennifer Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst, Kate Upton and other stars. According to Singer, Google isn't abiding by its responsibilities under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to expeditiously remove owned images on platforms that include YouTube and Blogspot, nor is it being diligent about the URLs in its search engine.

The family made this known in a statement released today. It read thus; With gratitude to Almighty Allah and with heavy hearts we announce the demise of our daughter Yewande Semiat Bankole aged 7yrs at a London hospital. Factory workers protest alleged exploitation by employer

 Some factory workers in Lagos on Thursday embarked on a peaceful protest against alleged exploitation by their employer which, they claimed, led to the death of their colleague. The workers of the Linda Manufacturing Company, Agege, producers of E-xpression hair `attachment’, protested to the Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA) over alleged poor condition of service. The workers claimed that their colleague, Mr Nnamdi Solomon, died due to maltreatment by the firm owned by Chinese.

FOLLOWING the crisis in Ekiti State, the National Judicial Council (NJC) is set for an emergency meeting today. The council, it was gathered, has also scheduled another round of meeting for October 13 and 14. The council may also summon the state Chief Judge (CJ), Justice Ayo Daramola and the governor-elect, Mr Ayo Fayose, to appear before its probe panel at a later date. It is also expected to deliberate on Daramola and alleged plan by Governor Kayode Fayemi to relocate courts handling Fayose’s suits elsewhere outside the state.
