There is an outbreak of the dreaded Ebola virus disease in Nigeria.   Minister of health Onyebuchi Chukwu This follows the death on Monday of the Lagos doctor who treated the Liberian man that died few days ago in the nation’s commercial centre. It has also been confirmed that two other medical personnel on the team have come down with the virus. The Minister of health Onyebuchi Chukwu who spoke to newsmen explains that the second doctor who attended to the Liberian man and nurse who managed him have full-blown cases of the Ebola virus disease. Late Patrick Sawyer flew into Lagos en-route a trip to Calabar for an official assignment but fell ill in the aircraft. The Minister of health, also said that eight persons that had first degree contact with the Liberian before he got to the hospital had also been quarantined and are under strict observation.

DailyMail reports that Thelma Idahosabased inBromley, south east London, spent 8,500 (N2.1m)on a number of procedures. The graduate, 29, forked out thousands for surgeries on her thighs, stomach, arms and love handles, as well as skin-tightening procedures, using ‘stolen credit card details’. She spent 4,000 at the Harley Street Skin Clinic and then purchased 4,500 worth of treatment at the West One Clinic – where she even demanded a 1,000 refund after only three litres of fat was removed instead of six. The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has been ranked the best in Nigeria, according to the 2014 University Web Ranking for Africa. The Peoples Democratic Party has said it does not need to rig in order to win the Saturday governorship election in Osun State.
