There is an outbreak of the dreaded Ebola virus disease in Nigeria.

This follows the death on Monday of the Lagos doctor who treated the Liberian man that died few days ago in the nation’s commercial centre.
It has also been confirmed that two other medical personnel on the team have come down with the virus.
The Minister of health Onyebuchi Chukwu who spoke to newsmen explains that the second doctor who attended to the Liberian man and nurse who managed him have full-blown cases of the Ebola virus disease.
Late Patrick Sawyer flew into Lagos en-route a trip to Calabar for an official assignment but fell ill in the aircraft.
The Minister of health, also said that eight persons that had first degree contact with the Liberian before he got to the hospital had also been quarantined and are under strict observation.
