Kaduna United defeat Sunshine Stars in Glo Premier League
game of the Glo Premier League played on Thursday.
The Crocodiles returned to winning ways after suffering a humiliating 4-0 loss to Giwa FC of Jos as the Weekend.
After a goalless first-half, the Kaduna State-owned team took the lead from a penalty in the 55th minute after the referee pointed to the penalty spot, following an infringement inside the visitors’ box.
Before Anthony Michael scored in the 71st minute to double Kaduna United's lead, and ultimately seal the win for the hosts.
Experienced striker Dele Olorundare will rue the gilt edged chance he had to pull a goal back for Sunshine Stars later in the game, as the 'Akure Gunners' went home with no points and no goals.
