Wedding bells: George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin
George Clooney has won privacy laws for his Italian villa that clear the way to wed his British fiancee there.
Fans or paparazzi face a £400 fine for loitering round, stopping at or even swimming up to the home on Lake Como until September 30.
George, 53, plans to marry human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin , 36, that month but had said he did not want to annoy his neighbours.
Local mayor Roberto Pozzi brought in the laws.
He said: “We have to guarantee security for George Clooney and his guests.”
The new law also includes anyone caught swimming up to the property which sits on the north Italian lake.

The couple had been seen in recent weeks touring several potential wedding locations including Venice or possibly Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
According to reports in the US Laglio mayor Roberto Pozzi said: “It is now completely forbidden to stop outside the entrance to Clooney’s villa.
“It’s a question of traffic and security. It is very dangerous and it’s also an issue of privacy.
“We have never penalised anyone in the past.
"This type of action is designed to bring about a change in people’s behaviour and create a more peaceful environment.
“We have to guarantee privacy and security for George Clooney and his guests.”
