Jennifer Lopez wows in popping pink dress at album launch party while ex Casper promotes it on Instagram
The singer looked stunning as she celebrated the release of her AKA album at Cipriani Downtown in NYC
Jennifer Lopez looked sexier than ever (and that's hard) as she headed out in New York City on Tuesday night to launch her brand new album.
It's been a busy few weeks for the 44-year-old singer with her very public split from Casper Smart, her scantily-clad World Cup opening performance, and the release of her latest record.
But that hasn't stopped the mum-of-two throwing herself into her work as she headed out to celebrate the release of her new record. J-Lo, 44, first headed to an intimate dinner with family and friends before making her way to Cipriani Downtown for her album release party.
The singer looked pretty in a popping pink figure-hugging dress and black heels as she made her way out of her car and into the venue. The star later posted a string of pictures with her team from inside the celebrations.
One person who wasn't there, was Jen's ex Casper Smart. But even though his invite got lost in the post, it didn't stop the backing dancer from plugging her AKA album on his social media accounts.
The 27-year-old posted a snap of singer J Lo's new album on Instagram with the caption: "Get it while its HOTT!!! @jlo #10thalbum #AKA its fire with so many dope songs & features."
It's also being reported that he's now planning to sue the site which initially made the claims he'd been cheating on J-Lo - a reason which was said to be behind the break-up.
According to TMZ, Casper is still angry that TheDirty.com claimed he was sending steamy messages model Sofie Vissa, and has said if they don't retract the story, he will take legal action.
But founder of The Dirty, Nik Richie, told the site in response: "Casper, go get a real job. I heard Instagram is hiring over in their compliance department ... Stop blaming everyone else for your problems."
Meanwhile, the On the Floor singer has admitted she has a little crush on Brit model David Gandy.
Speaking on Live With Kelly and Michael on Tuesday, she said: "Well, I would never ever name anybody, but I just did a video with this model. I don't know if you guys know him, his name is David Gandy ... He's in the Dolce & Gabbana ads ... I mean, this guy, he's almost perfect. He's almost perfect."
The 44-year-old singer, who has six-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with her third ex-husband Marc Anthony, also told the host she credits her family and friends for helping her to relax.
She said previously: "I'm constantly busy working, so when I do get time off, I like to relax and spend time with my kids, my family, and
my friends."
Meanwhile, Jennifer recently admitted that she has no regrets in life because she believes she always makes the right decisions for herself in the end.
Asked what she advice she would give her younger self, she said: "I would tell her to follow her gut because everything always works out
in the end."
She added: "The best advice I ever received was someone telling me to always trust my instincts, because you know yourself best.
