Alexis Sanchez Took A Dive: Rodgers


In the aftermath of his team’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal, Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers accused Arsenal’s forward, Alexis Sanchez of diving in order to get the free kick that lead to Arsenal equalizing at Anfield.

Rodgers who claimed to have been impressed with his teams show of character is quoted saying this in an interview after the match “We deserved to be one up at half-time and I don’t think it was a free kick in the build-up to their second. Alexis Sanchez dived for me and the referee bought it, but we have to defend better. We lost three duels and we need to win the first one” Brendan Rodgers also hailed his teams performances in recent times and went on to say claim that Liverpool were finally finding their rhythm.Liverpool came back brilliantly to salvage a point against Arsenal despite being down to ten men at Anfield thanks to a Martin Skrtel header in the 95th minute.
